First Day of School 2010

Some look more excited than others, but no one probably more excited than me!!! It was an odd but a welcome feeling having the kids gone for the day. We had a few extra kids here for a lot of the summer.....................frankly I desreve the break!!!
There were not many nerves this year as we all know and love the teachers at our little school. Morgan did start Jr. High, but he is LOVING it, which I plan to remind himf when he decided he doesn't!
IT'S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR
(well second to Christmas anyways)

Vacation Birthday's School ohhh MY!!

So rather than trying to put all of the
pictures in order I'll just give you the run down. The first 4 pics are from the County Fair. Anna, Conder, and Nate came and stayed a few days. These days were filled with firsts. I broke Anna's glasses, she also got stung by wasps, got licked by a cow, and Nathan got a bloody nose. I am sure it is a trip thesy will not soon forget. We hope they come back to visit their country cousins real soon. Marron is the mummy, and Morgan and her got first place in the contest!
The next two pics are from our stay with Lori and Mike's family. We went on a beautiful hike together. They kids had a good time climbing out on the rocks. I wish the pic could do it justice, it was serene and beatiful. We got pulled over by Uncle Mike just as we neared Arroyo Grande. The kids had a great time in his cruiser and with the little tour. Dylan talked about Uncle Mike for a week.....Thank's Uncle Mike!
We had a August birthday party in Taft with the Rollo side. Marron got a new BB gun, which is not the 22 she wanted, but was Mom approved. Morgan is sporting his new Cowboy boots from Grandma. He has been convinced he could be a bull rider ever since he rode the steer in the rodeo,................ um the answer is NO MORGAN! Paige is showing off her new shades she got.
While in SanDiego, Conder took us to see a light house, the pic with the kids all sitting down was from that adventure. We also were briefly able to see aunt Judy, and Gini and Jim, that was a treat. Gina and I also took Marron to get her ears pierced for her 10th b-day! (her request?!)
We had great visits with everyone. My plan was to stay for around two days at each stop, so that hopefully we wouldn't wear out our welcome. (which is easy to do with 9 people) It seemed to work. You may have to hear the real story from our hosts I suppose, but we all thought it was fantastic!
We send our Love to All!
