So we headed out of town to the coast. We went through Sawyers Bar on the way there. I love driving on beautiful roads I've never been on before. We stayed in the victorian town of Ferndale. Of course we stayed ate Fairgrounds for 20$ a night but it was cute quaint town. Our first night we were awakened by what we now know were the tsunami warnings! However after checking outside both times to see if anyone else was alarmed we went back to sleep. We checked out the town of Fortuna, then headed off to the Rewoods. They really are majestic. The kids had a lot of fun climbing around of the downed trees and roots. From there we went to the Loletta Cheese Factory. Yummy, our favorites were jabenero, and of course squeaky cheese. The rain let up just enough for us to pay for the zoo, then we got drenched. We rushed around trying to see everything, it was an adventure. When we got back to camp their was hail piled up and a broken awning. Alas we cooked dinner and attempted to watch a movie "We bought a Zoo", but the weather was so loud we could barely hear. We made reeces PB cup smores over the stove, and went to bed. We decided to head up the 101 on the way home. We found a free carousel ride at a car dealership! We planned on taking the tram ride at the Mystery stop in Klamath but it closes at 4?! So in Crescent City we went to Ocean world instead. It was cheaper and probably more fun. Josh laughed outloud at the sea lion, I thought it was going to be lame but it was totally worth it and a good time was had by all. So it was only 3 days 2 night, but we filled it all uup with memories and good times. Now we just have base-Softball and track to deal with then SUMMER!!!

Wrestling Season

I had to put this in here because this is pretty much how Grant looked winning or losing. not sure wrestling is his thing.

Morgan had a great season, he only lost a few matches to points

Brett finally realized he was stronger than the other boys. He just held on until the match ended, now if he would start doing moves and hold he'll start being more sucessful

Marron only wrestled the last meet. She has no one near her age in her weight class, so she wrestled up. She has vowed to never wrestle again, it really made her mad to lose.

Dylan also had a very good season, he won most of his matches.

So Josh and I coached wrestling. I condidtioned the kids and Josh coached them. We had a good time. Ryker finally started to eat. He is our best eater yet, just wants to eat with the rest of us all of the time.
