Summer Time 2010

We just got these done.

This was the best family shot!

Scout camp

Morgan is 12!!!!

Lego's to the ceiling...good times.

Back Yard red neck slip 'n slide.

Marshmellows anyone?

Rubb a dub dub 6 kids in the tub.

Do you think that it is a fire hazard to have 12 kids in one hotel room??

This was an early summer storm that came through. Serenity now!
So other than a dangerous rafting trip and several biking trips to Blacks Bridge this has been our summer so far. We went to science works and to the public sprinkler park one day that was really fun. Oh yeah we also made it to Mommo and Pops to help them move into their new place as well. I just finished my first duathalon (biking, then running) race on Saturday. It felt good to finally complete the race that I had been training for forever. We will be taking our big trip to southern Cal next week. Sooo ready to leave the house and chores behind for awhile!!!
Happy Summer to you all!

Happy new parents...again!

Spencer's glasses on Bridge.

We had Easter then it was my b-day, then Dylan Grant, and I went to UT to spend the week with the Conner's. Dylan turned 7 while we were there so we partied at the dinosaur museum! It was alot of un. The kids cried when we left home then creid when it was time to come home. I suppose that is a good way to tell if they had a good time. Grant and Dylan got to sleep over with Aaron and got to go to the movies with Grandma and Grandpa Rollo. Joshua did a great job managing the home and the 4 kids that stayed behind. Joshua kept singing "I don't care what you say this is my life!", so I am guessing that he loved being the boss. It made me laugh. Even though he was acting CEO, I left detailed instructions for each day. One was on the fridge, I sent one to school, and e-mailed him in two places, so that he could get everyone to their games, and activities that had been scheduled. Who says that I'm overbearing?

Catching Up!!!

Grant is 7, as of Jan. 28th!

Instead of friend birthday parties this year we are taking each child out on a birthday date. It is less work for us and more 1 on 1 for them. Here we are at the Black Bear Diner.

Morgan graduated from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts.
Brett got his first Cub Scout award, he was thrilled!
The Cub Scouts made balance boards
and jousting sticks for the Blue and Gold Banquet. This is Marron trying it out.
This is Dylan getting ready to dual with sweet little Mae.
Brett about to be dismounted, hang on buddy!
Lastly this is me and my good friend Jen doing battle. I practically had to force her up there but we both had a good time.
So that was pretty much our Jan. & Feb. in a nut shell. The older 3 Morgan, Marron & Brett are in the talent show this week singing Eye of the Tiger in a band. Also Morgan, Marron, and Dylan's basketball teams are ending this week, which is good because wrestling, baseball and softball have started! Joshua's boss also requested him for tenure, so we were also excited about that news. We love Etna and the whole community, so many good people and great activities for the kiddo's.

Christmas & New Years 2010?!

CHRISTMAS EVE DINNER

The whole gang + the Thompson family on Christmas Eve...what a crew!

CHRISTMAS MORNING

So we had a full house the entire 2 week Christmas break. Johnnie and his 3 kids stayed for the first week and Shannie & Ryan & crew stayed for 4 days. the house was sooo empty(but clean) when the kids went back to school and company left. Our hearts & hands were definately full, but we all loved, it helped to bring the Christmas spirit to our home and hearts.
HAPPY NEW YEAR, LOVE THE BAHEN'S
